Alexei Beletski

 
 

Alexei Beletski (also known as Alexei Beletsky) is an Israeli former competitive ice dancer who made significant contributions to the sport during his career. He was born on May 22, 1979, and his partnership with Natalia Gudina propelled them to success on both the national and international stages.

Beletski and Gudina began their journey as ice dancers in Ukraine, where they competed together until the conclusion of the 1998/1999 season. Following their decision to switch allegiances, they started representing Israel and continued their impressive performances.

Throughout their career, Beletski and Gudina achieved commendable results, showcasing their skill and artistry on various competitive platforms. They reached their highest placement of 14th at the World Championships, demonstrating their ability to compete at an elite level. Similarly, they achieved a remarkable 9th place at the European Championships, solidifying their position among Europe's top ice dance couples.

Their aspirations to compete at the pinnacle of the sport led them to participate in the Winter Olympics. In 2002, Beletski and Gudina represented Israel at the prestigious event, where they showcased their talent and determination on the Olympic stage, ultimately finishing in 19th place.

Not only did Beletski and Gudina excel in international competitions, but they also left a mark on their national ice dance scene. They secured the Israeli national silver medal from 2000 to 2005, consistently showcasing their dominance in the country's ice dancing sphere.

Although Beletski's active competitive career has come to a close, his legacy as an accomplished ice dancer endures through sharing his knowledge with others.
