Beyond Ballet: The Multifaceted Artistry of Nina Yoshida
Nina Yoshida began her training in ballet at a young age and continued to hone her skills at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, where she received a rigorous training in the art form. After graduation, she was accepted into the Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Studio Company, which gave her the opportunity to perform a variety of classical and contemporary works.
During her time at the Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Studio Company, Nina was praised for her strong technique, musicality, and emotional expressiveness. She performed leading and soloist roles in many ballets, including The Nutcracker, Walpurgisnacht, Cavalry Halt, and Rodin.
Nina later joined the American Repertory Ballet, a professional ballet company based in New Jersey. As a member of the company, she has continued to showcase her artistry and versatility in a range of ballets, both classical and contemporary.
Aside from her career in ballet, Nina has also expanded her interests to include yoga. She is a certified RYT200 yoga instructor and uses her training to help enhance her dance practice and overall physical and mental well-being.
