Brooke Tufts

Senior Solo Ice Dancer | U.S. National Champion & International Competitor

Brooke Tufts is a three-time National Solo Ice Dance Champion with years of experience in competitive figure skating. Throughout her skating career, she has represented the United States and developed a strong passion for the sport, both as an athlete and a coach.

Brooke currently coaches at Montclair State Arena, working with skaters of various ages and skill levels to help them develop their technique, confidence, and love for skating. She is also the founder and President of the Montclair State University Figure Skating Club, where she is dedicated to creating opportunities for collegiate skaters of all levels to train, compete, and grow.

Based in New Jersey, where she began her skating journey at the age of 3, she transitioned to solo ice dance at age 14 after sustaining a spinal injury that hindered jumping. Training at Montclair State University under the guidance of elite coaches Kristin Fraser Lukanin and Igor Lukanin—with rhythm and free dances choreographed by Igor Lukanin—Brooke has established herself as a powerhouse in the discipline, renowned for her high speed, technical precision, elegance, and commanding on-ice charisma.

With her competitive background and passion for coaching, Brooke strives to inspire the next generation of skaters while sharing the dedication, artistry, and discipline that have shaped her own skating career.
