ELENA RUSSO began her dance training in Schenectady, NY where she learned ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. By the age of 14, Elena was a Dance Teacher Assistant; by 16 she was teaching and choreographing for her own students. She continued her training at Montclair State University, earning her BFA in Dance Performance. At Montclair, Elena studied ballet and modern dance, taking frequent trips into NYC for classes at Broadway Dance Center. She also performed in works by Stacey Tookey, Frederick Earl Mosley, Sara Hooks, Christian Von Howard, and was an understudy for Polka by Mark Morris. Elena explored ballroom dance, but it wasn’t until after graduating that it captured her full attention. She is trained in American Rhythm, American Smooth, and International Latin. Elena has been featured in Rick Ross’s music video as a model, and most recently choreographed a music video for Connect 2, a singing sister duet.
