Sky Flaherty, born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, discovered his passion for dance at a young age. His journey into the world of dance began at the Robin Horneff Performing Arts Center, where he honed his skills and developed a deep love for the performing arts.

In 2007, at just 13 years old, Sky made his Broadway debut in the production of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the St. James Theatre. This early opportunity allowed him to share the stage with Broadway veteran Patrick Page, setting a high standard for his budding career. This experience marked the beginning of Sky's remarkable journey in the world of theater.

Sky's talent and dedication led him to perform in various regional and Broadway touring productions. Notably, he served as a principal dancer in Adrienne Canterna's Rock the Ballet X, mesmerizing audiences in Germany and Switzerland with his exceptional dance skills. His versatility and charisma on stage continued to shine through in his portrayal of Albert in Disney's Newsies: The First National Tour in 2017, a role he also reprised in the Newsies movie, currently streaming on Disney+.

Most recently, Sky closed the first national tour of Mean Girls the Musical, further cementing his reputation as a dynamic and talented performer. His ability to captivate audiences with his energy and precision has made him a sought-after artist in the theater community.

Beyond the stage, Sky Flaherty is dedicated to sharing his passion for dance through teaching. He imparts his extensive knowledge in ballet, contemporary, and jazz to aspiring dancers, inspiring them to discover their own rhythm and grace.
